In March 2012 I was appointed Lecturer at Cinvestav, a research centre in the north of Mexico. After a decade in the UK and Germany, my new position brought some important changes in my topics of research. I have expanded my areas of work to cover the needs of my country, which include renewable energy and water treatment, in particular arsenic removal, a big challenge in the state where I live.
These new variations have prompted a change in the name and focus of this blog. Nuclear Energy will no longer be the main topic of discussion but will expand to the research that my group CENERGY (Ceramic Materials in Energy Generation) does. I hope that the discussion of new areas will result of interest to new readers and those who used to visit us.
